Inspired by his father, Rafael Fernandez Romero, a structural engineer specializing in bridges, Lugufelo's interest in construction and materials came early in his life.
Lugufelo had the opportunity to learn Acerca visual effects and kinetic arts and in his works he combines the use of advanced technologies to create art that is unique and captivating, the manipulation of shapes to create shadows with various types of metals and multiple treatments. His specialties are: handcrafted works in metallic materials: such as steel, aluminum, brass, copper and stainless steel, as well as wood, glass, ceramic and acrylic.
