Luc Villard is a contemporary French painter. For Villard, creation has always been an open door to a larger, more colorful world, where the possibilities have no limit except the imagination given to them. The interpretation of the work is left to the subjectivity of each one who will be able to see in it an inner world of his own. By expressing himself with broad strokes of the brush, freed from conventions, the artist seeks to favor affect and demonstrates great rigor in the face of his art. That's why he starts again, again and again, until the spark of creation reaches the canvas.

His works made in acrylic on cotton or linen canvas are inspired by many movements. We will recognize a strong affiliation with abstract expressionism, an expressive art freed from figuration. It is a subjective art whose main research is to provoke an emotion in its viewer. More recently, the artist's discovery of the Street Art movement prompted him to pay homage to this movement born on the walls.

Luc Villard was born in 1955, in France. He exhibited his works nationally.
